Now I think Meryl will be given a good competition in this Oscar category by one of my favorite actresses Glenn Close ("Reversal Of Fortune", "Fatal Attraction", "Dangerous Liasons") for the movie "Albert Nobbs" where she plays (disguises) as a male butler.
I'm soooo excited for next year's Academry Awards.

I understand Glenn Close is being favored as the winner next year, having been passed over for the Best Actress Award for both "Fatal Attraction" and "Dangerous Liaisons."
They say the Academy has a thing for dues, which is why Sandra Bullock won the Oscar last year. I'm a big big fan of Streep, but methinks Glenn Close is way past due for her statuette.
We'll see next year at the awards, won't we?
