If you've seen the critically acclaimed gay documentary "Paris Is Burning" you'd know who Dorian Corey is. He/she figures prominently in the film as an ageing drag queen - giving advise and gay wisdom to aspiring crossdressers.
I was watching a Joan Rivers interview about the documentary (probably recorded in the early 90s) and decided to make a research about mister/miss Corey.

 inside a suitcase.<br /><br />I don't know why but I was disturbed by the thought of it.<br /><br />I was affected.<br /><br />I was afraid.<br /><br />I don't know why.<br /><br />The thought of it continously rang inside my mind ...<br /><br /><i>A mummified body of a man in a suitcase.</i><br /><br /><i>A mummified body of a man in a suitcase.</i><br /><br /><i>A mummified body of a man in a suitcase.</i><br /><br />I can imagine what Dorian had gone through all those years of having that secret inside his/her house. <br /><br />A secret that you always see and always wish that somehow would just go away. <br /><br />Worse, a secret that is part of your body. A small but significant pigment inside your brain or memory or your sould ... or something.<br /><br />A secret that you hope waking up the next morning it's no longer there. Vanished into thin air.<br /><br />But it didn't.<br /><br />I'm affected and disturbed not because I killed somone (I couldn't do that, silly). But because maybe I have some very deep and terrible secrets of my own that I wish would just go away.<br /><br />Or be washed ... or something.
